A lovely example of the very popular old Deans Mouse Eared bears.
Jonty is a very sweet Deans Mouse Eared Bear dating from the 1930s - 1940s. He is fully jointed with a good 90% of his good quality, long wavy mohair left. There is a small area of loss and slight darkening of the fabric at the top of his chest, but nothing too serious. He has the typical look of a Deans mouse eared bear, the wide set ears and jaunty positioning of his paws are all clues to his origins. He has experienced some fading of his fur which is quite common among old bears. He will be wearing his emerald green ribbon when sold. This fellow has glass eyes and his original cotton paw pads. He measures approximately 14.5 inches from head to foot. Thank you for looking.
