A great example of a quality early bear
Anton is an early German bear c. 1915. He is a good quality bear, with the characteristics of some Bing bears of this age. He is in overall good condition, his short mohair fur has overall thinning as you would expect from a bear of this age, he has his original shoe button eyes and facial stitching. He has his embroidered claws, although one is coming adrift. He also has replacement brown felt paw pads, similar to the originals. His growler can be heard clunking around inside him, but like most growlers of bears of Anton’s age it no longer works.
Anton is fully jointed, and measures approximately 17 inches tall in total. He would make a lovely addition to someone’s collection.
