You will usually receive acknowledgement of an order fairly quickly, but in any case normally within 24 hrs of our receiving it. We ask that our overseas buyers take into account any time difference when making contact.

* Note: Paypal echeques. Echeques differ from normal Paypal payments as they can take between 7 and 9 days to be received into our account, thereby delaying despatch of the item until that time. Postage costs
The postage cost shown for each item is the actual price that UK customers will pay. International shipping will be shown as a handling charge as extra to UK postage. Buyers will need to select their country from a drop down list (excluding UK buyers who do not wish to pay by Paypal). This change means that international buyers will now not need to get in touch in order to establish their shipping costs. All items are sent by trackable insured mail.
Postage rates for overseas are as follows and will be added to the UK postal cost (which is the postal price on the item listing).
Europe : £6.50 (plus the UK postal price) , USA and rest of the world : £8.50 (plus the UK price). Your postal cost will show as 'handling' on the shopping cart.
All items are securely boxed and sent by trackable/insured mail, usually either Royal Mail Airsure or International Signed For airmail depending on which service is available for the country in question. One final note about postage. Owing to differences in weight and value, occasionally the actual cost of posting will be more than the customer pays. This difference will be met by us.

Attributions:
All descriptions and attributions are given in good faith and based on many years experience. If there is any doubt about an attribution, it will be stated after the bear or toy has been researched.
Any known restoration or damage will be described in the item description. Growlers, squeakers and musical mechanisms should be assumed to be inoperative unless otherwise stated
Multiple Purchases
If you wish to buy more than one item, It will very often be possible to combine items in the same parcel to save on postal costs, depending on weight. Please check before buying.
Layaway
If you wish to spread the cost of your item, please contact us, we're happy to help. Owing to the popularity of this service, we have now reduced the minimum qualifying order to £50, cost may be spread over two months for items between £50 and £100. Purchases over £100 may be spread over two or three months whichever is your preference. Please contact us if you'd like to pay this way.
Returns:
In the unlikely event that you wish to reject your new friend, please advise us by email or letter within 7 days of receipt and send him back in the same condition as you received him. Purchase price and original postage will be refunded, return postage is the responsibility of the buyer. (UK & EU consumers only)
